General and Rapid Association Study Engine (GRASE) issued a US Patent

GRASE, a database inference search engine developed by RIKEN BASE in 2007, has been issued a US Patent. GRASE works by simulating the brain's inference mechanism and is used in Positional MEDLINE (PosMed), a web search engine that prioritises disease-associated genes, where it has contributed to many successful examples for life science research.
